Northpoint Crossing features a variety of spacious, furnished apartments plus a full set of community features such as resort-style pools, a 24-hour fitness center, community clubhouse and more.

Is Northpoint Crossing part of Texas A&M University?

Northpoint Crossing is a privately owned and professionally managed community. Click here for more information about the management and ownership.

Can I live with friends, or can you match me with roommates?

You can select your roommate(s), or you can apply on your own and we can match you with other students. Applicants answer a short list of lifestyle questions to help in the matching process.

What are per-person contracts?

Instead of requiring all roommates to sign a joint lease, each person at Northpoint Crossing has their own individual contract, with one person per bedroom. This means you are only responsible for paying for yourself — not your roommates. Even if a roommate moves out or other bedrooms in your apartment are empty, you only pay the rate for your bedroom.

What is included in the rate?

Each resident at Northpoint Crossing pays a flat rate that includes:

  • Furnishings
  • In-unit laundry
  • High-speed internet
  • Trash disposal
  • Community features – pool, fitness center, etc.

What size are the apartments?

The spacious accommodations at Northpoint Crossing include studio, 1, 2, 3 and 4 bedroom apartments, with a private bedroom-bathroom suite for each resident.

Are the apartments furnished?

Yes, all apartments at Northpoint Crossing have a furniture package that includes a full-size bed, nightstand, desk and chair, and dresser drawers in each bedroom. The living area includes a sofa, coffee table, entertainment stand and barstools. To see a sample of the furniture and other finishes, please visit our model apartment.

When do the contracts start and end?

The standard term begins August 19, 2023 and ends July 31, 2024, with payments made in 12 equal installments. Limited alternate dates are available; please inquire with our staff.

Is a co-signer or financial guaranty required?

Within 7 days after a Housing Agreement is signed, each resident is required to do one of two things: provide a qualifying guarantor (often a parent), or pre-pay the final 2 installments.

Can I pay by credit card?

Yes. Residents can pay online 24 hours per day, by credit card or ACH electronic checking. Northpoint Crossing offers automatic payment by either credit card or checking account — just fill out one page, one time and payments will be made automatically. Convenience fees apply for credit card and debit card payments.

Will my financial aid cover charges at Northpoint Crossing?

Your living costs at Northpoint Crossing can be covered by financial aid, just like on-campus housing. Any available financial aid funds, after university charges are satisfied, are released to the student for non-institutional expenses, such as off-campus housing. These funds can be used to pay charges at Northpoint Crossing. Normal payment deadlines will continue to apply.

Is Northpoint Crossing open to non-students?

Nearly all the residents at Northpoint Crossing are students at Texas A&M University or Blinn College and the per-person contracts are also designed with students in mind. Residents/families with children are welcome. There is no extra cost for minor children in the care of adult residents, other than regular charges for each bedroom space selected by the resident. A minor occupying a bedroom space rented by a parent, guardian or person with legal custody is not considered a breach of the Housing Agreement or a violation of the rules. Northpoint Crossing is an Equal Opportunity housing provider and welcomes applications from non-students. In order to match student roommates in shared apartments, we will request roommate consent for any non-student occupants.

What kind of safety and security are provided?

Northpoint Crossing has a monitored fire-sprinkler system, along with electronic locks plus individually locking bedroom doors. Community courtesy patrols are provided at select times. Management staff can be reached by a 24-hour phone number.

What are the policies on pets, smoking and guests?

Northpoint Crossing is a pet-friendly community, subject to limits on animals and breeds. The community is smoke-free in all indoor and adjacent spaces. Guests are welcome at all times, subject to the consent of roommates and security considerations. Overnight guests are welcome, with limits on the number of days and guests.

Can I park my vehicle at Northpoint Crossing?

Northpoint Crossing offers plenty of on-site garage parking for an additional cost.

What other transportation options will I have?

Northpoint Crossing is just blocks from the Texas A&M University campus. The University’s on-campus Route 4 bus service, Gig ‘Em, also has a stop right next to the community on Hensel Street and S. Texas Ave. The bus runs from 7am to midnight on weekdays when school is in session. For more details regarding the bus schedule, click here.
